Jay Z Inducted Into Hall Of Fame.

Jay Z has officially been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, becoming the first rapper ever to receive the honour.

The rapper was originally announced as a nominee last year November and was announced  as an inductee back in February.  Jay Z has now been entered into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, joining the likes of  John Lennon, Elton John and Ira Gershwin.

Inductees into the hall of fame are nominated by their peers in the music industry.

To celebrate his introduction, the Jay Z owned streaming service “TIDAL”  have created an online hub page that looks back at the rapper’s career and his influence on modern music.

Jay Z was celebrated by fellow rappers, Musicians, and celebrities alike on his accomplishment and the inspiration he gave to them in different ways.

Pharrell Williams, long time friend of Jay Z, congratulated him saying he was “One of one”.
