The abductors of Greenfield University students in Kaduna State have threatened to kill the remaining 17 students if their parents and the state government do not pay a ransom of N100 million by Tuesday, May 4th.
Some of the abducted students’ parents made this information public on Monday.
The victims’ parents told Channels Television that the bandits’ new demand of N100 million is in addition to the over N50 million ransom paid to them over the weekend with the promise of their children’s release.

The bandits also demanded ten new motorcycles by the end of tomorrow, Tuesday, May 4th, failing which they will have no choice but to kill the remaining 17 students in their custody, according to the parents.
On April 20, bandits attacked Greenfield University, which is located along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway, and abducted 23 students after killing a member of the school’s staff.
Five of the abducted students were killed in two batches by the bandits a week later.
