An explosion rocked a gas station in Baruwa area of Ipaja in Lagos State on Thursday.

Reports gathered said that the Lagos gas explosion which began at 6am had destroyed many properties. 

The incident was confirmed in a tweet by the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA). LASEMA also noted that its men had arrived the scene.

No casualty has been confirmed as of the time of filing this report.

“Gas station currently on fire in Barusa area of Lagos.”

“Explosion occurred around 6am. The agency has activated our emergency response plan,” the tweet read.
