Fact file for CAF Super Cup match between Wydad Casablanca of Morocco and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo in Casablanca Saturday:

What is at stake
The winning team in the one-off match pockets $100,000 (about 81,500 euros) and can boast that they are the top football club in Africa while the losers get 75,000.

Wydad won the CAF Champions League by defeating Al Ahly of Egypt 2-1 in the final while Mazembe lifted the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup by a similar aggregate score over SuperSport United of South Africa.

Previous appearances
Mazembe have featured in four Super Cup matches, winning three, while Wydad are seeking a first success in the competition after two losses.

Last meeting
Wydad dethroned then title-holders Mazembe in a 2016 CAF Champions League qualifier with the Moroccans building a 2-0 first-leg lead in Casablanca and drawing 1-1 in Lubumbashi.

CAF titles
Mazembe are the second most successful club in CAF competitions with 11 titles eight less than Al Ahly while Wydad have triumphed three times.
