The president of the United States of America has put his scheduled visit to the United Kingdom on hold.
Donald Trump has told Theresa May that he doesn’t want to go ahead with a planned state visit if the public stage protests.
The news was welcomed by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Trump has come under large scrutiny since he attacked the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan. Trump criticized the mayor for his poor handling of the UK terror attacks.
