The Golden State Warriors have extended their freakish playoffs run to 14-0 and take a 2-0 lead in the series with a 19-point win over the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers put up a strong fight but still fell short by 132-113.
The Warriors put up yet another dominating performance as they edged out the Lebron James led Cavaliers. It is still early in the series, but there seems no way back for LeBron James’ Cavs this year.
The Cavaliers put up a better performance in game 2 but a triple-double from LeBron James, 20 forced turnovers and 15 steals still wasn’t enough to beat the Warriors. Leading the Golden State charge again was Kevin Durant with 33 points.
He did it all for the warriors both offensively and defensively, Steph Curry danced circles around his defenders with some nasty crossovers, igniting the offense with 32 points in his triple-double performance. Another good sign for the Warriors was the reemergence of Klay Thompson on the offensive end who added his own 22 points and 7 rebounds.
Game 3 back in Cleveland Ohio would be a stern test for the warriors as they were in this same position last year with a 2-0 lead. Lebron James and his Cavaliers will be looking to do everything possible to rewrite the history books once again.
