The President of Iran Hassan Rouhani has blamed Israel and the United States, the US for the murder of nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
Rouhani alleged that Israel had acted as a “mercenary” for America in the murder of Fakhrizadeh.
Fakhrizadeh was shot near Absard city in Tehran on Friday.
In a statement on Saturday, Rouhani noted that once again, “the evil hands of global arrogance were stained with the blood of the mercenary usurper Zionist regime”.

The ‘Zionist regime’ is veiled reference Israel.
Islamic Republic premier was quoted by the State TV to have said the assassination of Fakhrizadeh displays enemies’ despair and the depth of their hatred.
“His martyrdom will not slow down our achievements”, Rouhani vowed.
