President Muhammadu Buhari mourns the death of the former Minister of Science and Technology Major General Sam Momah.
Maj. Gen. Sam Momah died on Wednesday following a complicated diabetic issue. His death was announced in a tweet by the Lifeline Care Association, a not-for-profit organisation which offered free emergency services to victims of road traffic accidents which Momah served as a Grand Patron.
In a press release from the state house by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Femi Adeshola, the President sent his condolences to the family of the late Maj. Gen. Sam Momah
Describing Momah’s life as memorable, President Buhari said that the former administrator, engineer and officer had distinguished himself in the military and intellectual field serving the country and humanity with his God given gifts

He urged Momah’s family, friends and associates to find solace in the huge investments Momah made to people and institutions. Among which include the educational system where he served as Director of National War College, member of the Governing Council of University of Jos, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and Fellow, Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Uwana.
President Buhari noted that Momah was meticulous in his service to the Nigerian army, attracting many honors.
As President Buhari mourns Sam Momah, he also prays for the repose of the departed’s soul.
