Ibrahimovic Tests Positive For COVID-19

AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for coronavirus, the Serie A club have confirmed.

A committee set up by the Sokoto state government to confirm the actual number of students entitled for scholarship schemes has revealed over 706 fake students.

Chairman of the committee, Ambassador Shehu Wurno, said the committee visited 40 tertiary institutions within and outside the country and verified only 14, 532 state indigenes qualified for scholarship.

During the presentation of the report to Sokoto State Governor,  Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the chairman made it known that the discovery had saved the state N30 million in tax payer’s money.

In his remarks, Governor Tambuwal said his administration will continue to give absolute priority to the education sector.

The Governor commended members of the committee and assured that all the recommendation of the committee will be implemented by the government.
