The Taraba State Government has approved the reopening of the State-owned university and other tertiary institutions before the end of October.
But the directive does not cover the College of Agriculture, Jalingo; School of Health Technology, Takum and the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Jalingo.
The State’s Commissioner for Information and Re-orientation, Danjuma Adamu, who disclosed this in Jalingo said the actual date for the resumption will be determined after consultation with key players.
Tertiary institutions were closed down in Taraba State due to COVID-19 pandemic.
But the State university was not in full operation before its closure as result of an ASUU strike.
