Trey Songz, the American singer, was arrested on Sunday after an altercation with an AFC Championship Game police officer.

He was convicted and accused of attacking a police officer, resisting arrest and assaulting him.

The incident took place in Kansas City, Missouri, during the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium.

Trey Songz was filmed getting into a physical altercation with a police officer trying to lock him into a headlock which led to him being arrested.

According to TMZ, the witnesses reported that afterward, without provocation, a police officer allegedly got physical with the rapper and that the supposed altercation on Songz’s part was self-defense.
