Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, on Monday, confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Zelenskiy,  disclosed his positive COVID-19 status  in a tweet. He said he will be working in self-isolation while being treated for the deadly disease.

He said, “There are no lucky people for whom #COVID19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I received a positive test.”

”However, I feel good. I promise to isolate myself and I continue to work.”

Ukraine has recorded a total of 8,565 COVID-19 deaths.
