Popular US R&B singer, Jeremih has been hospitalized in Chicago after contracting COVID-19.

TMZ reports that the 33-year-old singer is currently in an Intensive Care Unit on a breathing ventilator.

However, it remains unclear how long Jeremih has been hospitalized for.

Chance The Rapper, 50 Cent and other celebrities have taken to social media to wish Jeremih recovery as he battles COVID-19.

Chance via his Twitter page urged his fans to pray for Jeremih.

His tweet read: “Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he is ill right now.”
